Below are a few things to know before you head on over to the studio that will help you be prepared for your first visit.

Where Is WildRye Hair Studio?

WildRye Hair Studio is located inside

My Salon Suites.

Located at 5350 Burnet Rd. on the ground level. It is a big building with apartments above that say Haus 5350. My Salon Suites is on street level with the front glass doors facing Burnet Rd. Shape Method & Austin Camera & Imaging is right next to door You will see Monkey Nest Coffee across the street.

FREE PARKING GARAGE

There is a parking garage on street level of the 5350 building and it's free! When you turn into the garage you will park in all the retail parking spaces which is on ground level and below (veer slightly right).

Please allow an extra 10 minutes to find parking. It can seem a little tricky to find the parking garage the first time, if you miss it, you will have to swing back around.

GETTING INTO THE LOBBY

Once parked, head to the front of the building (towards the street), to get to My Salon Suites front doors.

The front door to the lobby is open until 5pm then it locks and you must get buzzed in. If you arrive after 5pm there is a directory outside right by the front door and the

same directions below will apply.

Once you are in the lobby there is door that I need to buzz you in to get to my studio. Use the directory by the door to call my studio (WildRye Hair Studio #306) to get buzzed in.

Press "directory". You will see WildRye Hair Studio. Press “call” and I will buzz you in. Once you are "buzzed" in, hang tight. I will meet you there and give you a tour of the space and we will walk to my studio together.

If I am unable to buzz you in when you call, take a seat in the lobby. I am finishing up with my client and will buzz you in when I am done and the studio is clean & ready for you.

PHOTOS AND VIDEOS AT WILDRYE HAIR STUDIO

At WildRye Hair Studio, I capture both pictures and videos to create a record of our hair journey together, including before-and-after moments.

I understand that being in front of the camera can feel a bit strange or uncomfortable. But don’t worry— I’m here to guide you! I will show you how to position your hands and where to look, reminding you to relax, have fun, and be yourself throughout the process.

If you'd like, I can also email or AirDrop the pictures to you.

Please remember, if you prefer not to have any photos or videos taken,

I will completely respect your wishes.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR HAIRCUT OR COLOR APPOINTMENT

For the best results, please come to your appointment with no more than 2 days dirty hair. Coming to your appointment with clean, dry hair is preferred to help with the consultation, allowing me to see your hair in it’s natural state.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR SCALP FACIAL APPOINTMENT

For the best results, please avoid washing your hair for 48 hours before your SCALP FACIAL. This allows your’ scalp’s natural oils to accumulate, providing a clearer picture of its natural condition.

Washing right before the treatment can remove these essential oils, reducing the SCALP FACIAL’s effectiveness. Having this natural layer in place allows the treatment to penetrate more deeply, facilitating thorough cleansing, nourishment, and hydration.
